The laughter shared between you and your best friends as you prepare for your wedding ceremony. The look on your groom's face when he first sees you coming down the aisle. The whispered words of love spoken during your first dance as husband and wife. These are fleeting moments we try to sear in our mind's eye before they slip through our fingers.

But photography changes that.

Photography on your wedding day captures that look from your groom, saving it forever to be viewed by you, your children, your grandchildren. Photographs from your wedding day bring back like a flood the memories of laughter with girlfriends and those sweet words you and your husband shared. 

This is why we do what we do. As photographers, we hunt for those moments and preserve them. We give you images to have and to hold for years to come. Because our single shutter click changes a moment into a forever. 

We were blessed to have Jason and Melaina take our engagements, bridals, and wedding photos. They are so personable and great to work with! I had an idea of certain poses I wanted and they made the shots even better than I could've imagined! Their wedding and reception "action" shots turned out amazing! We're college acquaintances who became good friends, who finally confessed our love for one another. We've been married for 8 years and working as a professional wedding photography team for 4 years. We like to think of ourselves as sweethearts who photograph sweethearts.

We tell our Sweethearts to take in all the little moments on their wedding day because it's going to go by so fast. And when it's over, they'll have their images from the day to relive it over and over. But you know what else goes by so fast? 10 YEARS. Because on June 29, 2008, these two kids were married. And the past 10 years have been the best!

Weddings are about more than just the bride & groom. They're also about all the people the bride & groom love, and who love them back. One of the sweetest moments of Robert & Abbie's wedding actually was between Abbie and her mom. These two have been BFFs for Abbie's whole life. And being an only child, their relationship can't help but change some now that Abbie has moved into this next chapter of life by marrying Robert. So to honor her connection with her mom, Abbie had her mom walk her down the aisle. And while we have many pictures of Abbie smiling at Robert, or at her friends and family, as she walks down the aisle, it's this image of her and her mother sharing a sweet smile together that stands out as a favorite for me. Because it's #weddinglittlemoments like these that remind us how special all the relationships are on a wedding day. Jason & I have this game we play sometimes where we ask one another, "If we were getting married now, what would we do differently than we did 10 years ago?" When you've been involved in the wedding industry for awhile, you see a lot of trends come and go, and it makes you start thinking. My most recent answer was that I'd want us to have a more intimate wedding, only send out invitations to immediate family and very close extended family, and to friends who are like siblings. And to have our small, intimate ceremony in a really pretty backyard in the fall. NOT outdoors at the end of June like our actual wedding was. Want to play our game with us? If you could redo your wedding, what would you do differently? Or if you've yet to get married, what one wedding trend would you absolutely include in your big day? When you've been involved in the wedding industry for awhile, you see a lot of trends come and go, and it makes you start thinking. My most recent answer was that I'd want us to have a more intimate wedding, only send out invitations to immediate family and very close extended family, and to friends who are like siblings. And to have our small, intimate ceremony in a really pretty backyard in the fall. NOT outdoors at the end of June like our actual wedding was. Want to play our game with us?
