We're a sucker for a good love story around here, and this beautiful bride definitely has one to share. Anahy meet her sweet Rene in biology lab her freshmen year of high school and they've been together ever since! There's something so romantic about how these two have been together since they were only fifteen years old. From their first date at Burger King to Rene's romantic proposal on the Waco Suspension Bridge on New Year's Day, their love story is such a sweet account of how two people dedicated to daily making the choice to love one another will make a beautiful love story work.
Anahy and Rene chose the stunning Vera Estates wedding venue in China Spring, Texas (right outside of Waco, Texas) as the location where they would finally become Mr. and Mrs. in front of all their beloved friends and family. And so when we were talking with Anahy about possible locations to photograph her bridal portraits, we jumped at the chance to photograph her at Vera Estates. And not just because it's a beautiful venue. With the large open fields surrounded by dark, tree-lined woods, to the stunning house opening up into the large, manicured back yard with it's tranquil pool, all under an expansive sky that can't help but show off the gorgeous Texas sunset every evening, Vera Estates is such a breath-taking venue. I mean, the staircase alone is worth getting married there!
But we wanted to photograph Anahy in her elegant lace wedding gown and lace-trimmed cathedral veil she pick to wear on her wedding day in the place she was to be married. It's no secret that we love to photograph our J&M Sweethearts in locations that are special and meaningful to them and their relationships. So it was such an honor to capture this stunning bride in all her bridal beauty in the exact location she was going to walk down the aisle in in just a few short weeks.
And now, when she is showing her children and grandchildren her bridal portraits, and they are "oohing" and "awwwing" over her beauty as a young bride, she can say, "And that spot right there, that's where I said 'I do, forever' to your dad and grandfather." And we can think of nothing more romantic.
Congratulations Anahy & Rene! May your beautiful wedding be only the beginning to a beautiful, flourishing marriage for years to come!
